Transfer Process Completed Without Shipped Quantity (Doc ID 1923250.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM), it is possible to complete the transfer process without any shipped quantity.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to SIM.
  2. Click on Shipping/Receiving -> Transfers.
  3. Create a Transfer Request.
  4. Navigate to the sending store and accept the transfer request for the requested quantity.
  5. Select the accepted Transfer Request on the Transfer List screen of the sending store and click on 'Dispatch'.
  6. Note that the selected transfer gets dispatched without a shipped quantity.
  7. Navigate to the receiving store and receive the transfer.
  8. Note that the Stock on Hand (SOH) of the receiving store gets updated.


Issues Noticed:

  1. A transfer can be dispatched without a shipped quantity.
  2. The SOH of the receiving store gets incremented, although the sending store continues to show the same quantity in Transfer Reserved.
