Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 7.5.0.4.0 version, Customer Center
When modifying products on the product customization tab that have a relative date offset (e.g. 93 days offset configured at deal level), while switching from the valid "Relative" offset and clicking on the "Date" to manually set the date via calendar, the default setting is '31-Dec-1969'.
This value seems to be linked to the new "details" time fields. For example, cycle_start_details_t was added during the upgrade from BRM 7.0 -> BRM 7.5. However, there does not seem to be a readily available setting that will correct the presentation issue with these date fields.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------
The date default setting is '31-Dec-1969'
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The date should default to 93 day offset as configured, or at the very least to the present date.
STEPS
-----------------------
1.) Modify an existing deal through Pricing Center to give it a relative offset in the cycle_start_t or cycle_end_t.
2.) Then commit that change and re-open Customer Center
3.) Purchase the plan that contains the deal you modified
4.) Then while in the purchase wizard, specifically in the product customizations step, de-select the "Relative" radio button and select the "Date" radio button.
