ORPOS Application Causes A Bottleneck In the Bin Directory Due To A Corrupt .ser File (Doc ID 1924512.1)

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) , the serialized object files on the client are not deleted if they are corrupt for some reason.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Perform a sale in offline mode.
  2. Bring down the client.
  3. Open the queue file in a text editor and type in some text to artificially corrupt the file. Save it and close it.
  4. Bring up the client and server.
  5. Note that the corrupted file is copied to the bin folder multiple times.
