Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, when there exists an item parent with several item children (form [itemchildren]), all children have the same cost price by default inherited from the parent item (form [itemsuppctry]). When changing the cost price of some of the children (form [itemexp]), the only way to update the Estimated Landed Cost (ELC) of the item child is to recalculate one by one manually.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create an item and child item (with diff) with Primary and Secondary supplier.
- Add expenses at country level.
- Change Unit Cost of the child item in [itemchildrendiff] screen.
- Check expenses. Note that expenses have NOT been recalculated to reflect the new unit cost.
