ELC Mass Recalculation Does Not Apply Changes Made to Item Children With Different Cost Prices (Doc ID 1924544.1)

Last updated on MARCH 06, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2.6 to 13.2.9 [Release 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, when there exists an item parent with several item children (form [itemchildren]), all children have the same cost price by default inherited from the parent item (form [itemsuppctry]).  When changing the cost price of some of the children (form [itemexp]), the only way to update the Estimated Landed Cost (ELC) of the item child is to recalculate one by one manually.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create an item and child item (with different cost prices) with Primary and Secondary supplier.
  2. Add expenses at country level.
  3. Change Unit Cost of the child item in [itemchildrendiff] screen.
  4. Check expenses.  Note that expenses have NOT been recalculated to reflect the new unit cost.
