Goal

MT-Kyogikai has announced the Specification Change of the J-Drug Dictionary data file
by a letter dated on 01-AUG-2014 which was sent to members of them.

The changing part of the J-Drug Dictionary data file is

-- 10th field = Manufacturer Code --- changes from 3 to 5 bytes
-- 11th field = Manufacturer Name --- changes from 20 char to unlimited

The following is the translation of the part of the Letter with summary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are not planning drastic change for drug information, but we change
specification for the manufacturer code and manufacturer name by
consideration for future business operation, and wish related people to
recognize it.

-- Changed field is Manufacturer Code (fd.10 (10th field)) and Manufacturer
Name (fd.11(11th field)).
-- For fd.10, increase current 3 digits to 5 digits.
-- For fd.11, change current 20 byte maximum limit to unlimited.
-- No change for all the other fields.
-- In the first delivery in August, the change is only fd.10 (character "0"
(zero) will be inserted at the first of current fd.10 value),
and code itself is not changed and manufacturer name is not changed.
-- For the delivery after August, about new records or changes, we will
inform by letter per necessity which will be included in ordinary
maintenance.
