Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2, while creating an off-invoice deal using the dealupld.pc batch that has the threshold limit type as 'Q' and threshold value type as 'Q', the system throws the following error:

If the same flow is performed through the RMS user interface, both values are mandatory when creating an off-invoice deal.  It is expected that both flows for off-invoice deals creation (RMS UI and DEALUPLD.PC) would show consistent behaviors.  w

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create an off-invoice deal through the RMS interface, entering all mandatory values (including threshold limit type and threshold value type).
  2. Note that the deal is created with no errors.
  3. Create the same off-invoice deal using dealupld.pc batch having the threshold limit type as 'Q' and threshold value type as 'Q'.
  4. Note the error:  "Threshold Limit Type must be blank if Threshold Value Type is Q".
