Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure 7.3, in an environment using two Websphere Web Servers, when settings are updated in the user interface, the change is not displayed for all users. Some users still see the old value.
For example, if a user goes into the Configuration screen and updates the Session Timeout Value to 1800, another user looking at the same screen will still see the old value of 3000. The underlying table is updated successfully as the CONFIGURATION table now contains a value of 1800. However, some users still see the old value in the interface.
They expect all users to see the same values in the OFSAA interface.
Steps to Reproduce:
- User 1 logs into OFSAA Infrastructure
- Go to System Configuration > Configuration
- Update the Session Timeout Value to 1800
- Verify the value is updated in the CONFIGURATION table
- User 2 logs into OFSAA Infrastructure
- Go to System Configuration > Configuration
The old Session Timeout Value is displayed on the screen even though the value in the CONFIGURATION table is 1800.
