NullPointerException In HttpServletRequest.getSession(false) (Doc ID 1928002.1)

initialHttpServletRequest.getSession(false); returns null when a second HttpServletRequest arrives and is used to retrieve the session.

An initial HttpServletRequest that created an HttpSession is stored in the application and an answer is committed.

When a second HttpServletRequest arrives in the same session, the HttpSession object is retrieved from the initial request by calling: initialHttpServletRequest.getSession(false);

This throws the following exception:
