Information in this document applies to any platform.
After some time, a server will report "Transaction is not active" errors continuously in all page serving instances. This fills up the logs and blocks the site from operating correctly.

To identify if you are encountering this issue, review the complete server logs and look at the transaction id in the error message. If that transaction id is repeated in the errors over the course of time, then you are likely encountering this issue.
