ALM Process Fails with ORA-01438 Updating CONVEXITY_C on Instrument Table

In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), when you an ALM Process, the process fails with the following ORA-01438 error in the ofsrm.xxxxxx.log in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps:

The error only occurs when  you process against a large number of records (50,000) and select the "Update Instrument Date" options on the "Output Preferences" screen.
