After Resolving Network Issues, the Transactions Do Not Resume Flowing to SIM from ORPOS

On Oracle Retail Point of Service(ORPOS), the transaction flow to Store Inventory Management (SIM) is not restored upon resolvng network connectivity issues until the orpos server is restarted. The following error is seen on the orpos.log.
