Event Adjustment Limits Set In Permissioning Center Not Being Enforced (Doc ID 1933435.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 21, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 7.4.0.19.0 version, Customer Center

The Event Adjustment Limits set in Permissioning Center have not been enforced.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------
The /customercenter/event/adjust values set for min. and max. are not been enforced, i.e. as long as the CSR user has Read/Write permissions, the CSR user is still able to issue both credit and debit adjustments over the limit of the $ amount set in the min. and max. fields.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When a CSR user entering a $5100 adjustment (a greater value than the max. limit been set), the operation should therefore be prevented.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. From Customer Center, select an account with a bill of ~$75k. The user (CSR), per the permissions table in the database, has $5k limits on adjustments.
2. Perform an event level adjustment for $5100 and go through without error.
