DEFQ - Data Entry Forms and Queries
Question 1: After setting up a user filter on a DEFQ form, where is the filter information stored?
Question 2: How to populate the DEFQ_GLOBAL_VALUES table? As per the readme for <Patch: 16933299> - USERS ABLE TO SEE DATA IN FORMS FOR WHICH THEY ARE NOT MAPPED AND VICE VERSA:
6. The Global value for the user will be entered in DEFQ_GLOBAL_VALUES table
as shown below in the atomic schema. This table should be created through
Incremental Model Upload to the atomic schema where the data can be uploaded
CREATE TABLE DEFQ_GLOBAL_VALUES
GLOBAL_VALUE VARCHAR2(50) NOT NULL,
What is the global_value and user_name for a user? Where can this information be found? How does this table actually filter (i.e. only users in this table are allowed to see all data in the Form)? Can you provide an example of what values to enter and how the entered rows filter the data?
