Goal

 Currently, when an IMAP client logs in,  the MMP logs the client IP address, and the connection it uses to connect to the backend.


Eg.  login from client  to MMP gives in the imapproxy log file :

...but again not the client's IP address.

You now need to start correlating between the MMP and IMAP log file to see who came from where and did what. This can be a hassle when eg. multiple frontends are involved.
When the imap backend would log the client's IP address directly - in log files and telemetry - it would be a lot easier to track what a certain client is doing.

Can an IMAP backend log the client's IP address when the MMP is in between ?
