Last updated on MARCH 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2.5 to 13.2.9 [Release 13.2]
Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 14.1 to 14.1.1 [Release 14.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a transfer is loaded from an external system via the Retail Merchandising System(RMS) API, the system updates ITEM_LOC_SOH.LAST_UPDATE_DATETIME with the value of VDATE instead of the SYSDATE timestamp.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Note the VDATE in RMS.
  2. Create an externally generated (EG) transfer using rib-script.
  3. Note the column LAST_UPDATE_DATETIME in the ITEM_LOC_SOH table.
  4. Note that it is updated with the VDATE value, not the SYSDATE.
