Symptoms

"mat2entityset" preprocessor program is setting symbology to 0 for all electrical devices when using a script-based preprocessor.  As a result, users cannot view the electrical layer in the Viewer.

  1. The maa files show good symbology before running this:
    mat2entityset -scale 1.0 -maa ${mapPrefix}.maa6 \
    -out ${OPERATIONS_MODELS}/patches/${mapPrefix}.mb \
    -rmn ${mapPrefix} -b \
    -p $ptn >> ${mapPrefix}.log

    3318.maa6:
    CES_GRAPHIC_OBJECT
    1000
    107 5001 7 0.000000 0.000000 10707

  2. After running the above:
    ADD xfm_pm 5001 {
      PHYSICAL_PROPERTY = LATERAL | TRANSFORMER | UNDERGROUND;
      NCG = 116;
      PHASES = 7;
      PORT_A = ;
      PORT_B = ;
      ALIAS[OPS] = "xfm_pm_1000007";
      DIAGRAM[1405] (1405) = {
      RANK = 2336;
      SYMBOLOGY = 0;
      HEIGHT = 500.000000;
      JUSTIFICATION = 0;
      GEOMETRY = {
        (1159836.780000,14077021.160000),
        (1159836.170573,14076991.166191)
      };
      };

Changes

Installed NMS v1.12.0.1.1 or v1.11.0.4.23, this is where the problem was introduced.
