Parameter Distribution from Back Office to POS Does Not Occur Properly When Register Is Offline (Due to Non-Durable Subscription Change) (Doc ID 1936469.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS) 13.1.x, whenever distributing any parameter from Back Office (BO) to a register while the register is offline, the parameter change is not reflected in the register when it comes online.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Shut down POS client only while all other applications are up.
  2. Complete a parameter distribution job from BO to ORPOS.
  3. Start POS Client and wait for a while.
  4. Note that the workstation.xml on the POS client is not updated with the new parameter changes.
