Errors Launching WAM Forms: Applet Could not be Started and Java(TM) was Blocked because it is Out of Date and Needs to be Updated (Doc ID 1938472.1)

When attempting to launch any WAM module, the following errors occur:

" Applet could not be started." At the top, highlighted in yellow, there is another error which states, "Java(TM) was blocked because it is out of date and needs to be updated."

The Browser being used is IE. The Browser and Java versions being used are supported as per the Upgrade / Installation Guide that corresponds with the WAM version.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log onto WAM
2. Attempt to launch any module, for example, Work Order
3. Error is displayed
