Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

In Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) 13.2.x, the SAIMPTLOGI batch is failing with the following error:

There appears to be incorrect rounding happening for the IGTAX amount.  The RTLOG was generated with the IGTAX AMOUNT field having 5 decimal places.  According to the Data Model, this is correct precision for this field.  However, if you take a look at the tables, the value has a range of 4 instead of 5.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Upload an RTLOG with transactions having IGTAX.  Have one transaction for which the IGTAX amount contains 5 decimals.
  2. Run the SAIMPTLOGI batch.
  3. Notice the error: saimptlogi_1~20140526173005~flushTranInsertArrays~sa_tran_igtax~-1722~ORA-01722: invalid number~Cannot INSERT - row=0
