Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.0 and later
Oracle Retail Sales Audit - Version 14.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) 14.0.x, we note that an Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) audited transaction cannot be loaded into Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) when the transaction number starts with "0".

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enable ORSIM integration while installing Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS) with register ID 001.
  2. Tender a transaction and check the generated ORSIM TLog.  Example:  THEAD|42410010000017|20140904092717|||
  3. Observe the transaction number generated.   Note that the register ID contains the leading zeroes (001).
  4. Transaction number generated in ReSA will not have those leading zeroes; this creates an issue when loading the transaction into SIM.
