Symptoms
MetaSolv Solution version 6.2.1.589.15
Child virtual circuits are NOT releasing from parent virtual (Parent VLAN) assignment which forces a complete redesign of the child in order for the parent assignment to be released. Partial redesign of child virtual circuit should provide users with the ability to select what they want to modify in the design without completely starting over regardless of the state of the circuit. Business scenario: Both child and parent virtuals were on the same order or different orders (EWO-internal) and either had a status of RID or In-Progress.
Business Impact
Due to this issue, users are less productive.
