Convergence Browser Reports an Unresponsive Script (Doc ID 1942003.1)

Symptoms

While using Convergence the Firefox browser reports :

         Warning: Unresponsive script
         A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script
         now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.


Eg.

 

 

This can also happen with Internet Explorer, which will state at the bottom of the screen :
         <Convergence domain> is not responding due to long-running script     [Stop script] X

Eg.

or to Chrome :
         Page(s) Unresponsive
         The following page(s) have become unresponsive. You can wait for them to become responsive or kill them.
