Failed to Start Messaging Services after Upgrading to Messaging Server 7u5 Patch 34, Multiple Core Dumps from Various Processes (Doc ID 1942180.1)

Symptoms

Upgrading from Messaging Server 7u5 p30 to p34.

The upgrade was completed on one node of the cluster - node A.  Messaging services were functioning normally on node A.
Upgraded the other node, node B, and tried to fail Messaging service back over to node B from node A.

On node B, it will not start. Various processes (msstart, configutil, imapd, popd, and ims_master) dump core during startup.

Recently moved from NIS to LDAP, which is why "ldap" is in the /etc/nsswitch.conf for group to enable netgroup stored in LDAP.
