When customers map some carefully authored HTML into a rich text editor in the product (e.g. the default HTML editor in Oracle Commerce Merchandising), the resulting HTML that is saved has either added some undesirable HTML details or removed some desirable HTML details. Our customers reported similar problem whe editing HTML in FCKEditor which is included in Content Administration. In previous versions of Merchandising, we shipped EditLive as the HTML editor. Every one of these editors including the Flex HTML editor (that is normally bound to HTML data in Merchandising) has caused complaints from customers because HTML formatting that was carefully constructed gets lost after the HTML editor processes it.
