Applies to:Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Using: Convergence 220.127.116.11.0
This issue is also seen with Convergence 18.104.22.168.0 and below.
We are facing problem in replying to email messages that are being sent by Outlook clients. The problem is that the display name of email address from those clients is surrounded with single quotes. As a result, the following error is observed when attempting to reply:
5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias: '@domain.com
For example, the email address being replied to is "'firstname.lastname@example.org'" .
Also to note, if the Address Book contains a user who is enclosed in the single quotes and an email is sent to such a user by directly accessing the AB entry, then the problem also occurs that way, as well.
