Convergence Calendar Resource Names Are Not Truncated And Are Cut Off
(Doc ID 1946939.1)
Last updated on MARCH 06, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using: Convergence 3-0.01
When searching for resource calendars, if the resource name has 4 or less characters (at the beginning of the name) in it (regardless of the dash (-) *OR* if the name does not have any dashes in it, then the name will not wrap and the resource name is cut off randomly.
Examples of this are:
test-blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
four-chars_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
example_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
But, if the resource name has >4 chars in it (at the beginning of the name) and has a dash (-), then the issue does not seem to occur.
Examples of this are:
5chars-blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
test5-blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
resource-blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
testt-blah_blah_blah_blah_blah_blah
The wrapping/non-wrapping is seen in the selection box pop-up when inviting a resource to an event.
