Reclassification Incorrectly Updates ORDHEAD.DEPT, Later Causing the Xorder Interface to Fail (Doc ID 1947807.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.1.x, the reclassification process incorrectly updates ORDHEAD.DEPT, causing the XORDER interface to fail.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set UNIT_OPTIONS.DEPT_LEVEL_ORDERS = N.
  2. Create an order with items belonging to the same department.  Make sure that the DEPT field on the ORDHEAD screen is NULL. 
  3. Approve the order.
  4. Reclass the item used above to a different department.
  5. Run the reclsdly batch.
  6. The ORDHEAD.DEPT value is updated incorrectly for the order created in the above steps.
