rpm_client_config.jar is Missing After a Successful Installation of RPM Application (Doc ID 1949777.1)

Last updated on MAY 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 14.0 to 14.0.1 [Release 14.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After successfully installing Retail Price Management (RPM) 14.0.x application, you observe the war folder is not getting created under $WEBLOGIC_DOMAIN_HOME/servers/<rpm-managedserver>/tmp/_WL_user/rpm/<38o5n1>  directory
which is missing rpm_client_config.jar   This is required to access the RPM Application and should be created by the installer by default.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Run RPM installer and see that the build was successful.
2. As per the RPM Installation Guide instructions, try to sign the rpm_client_config.jar
    a. Notice that $WEBLOGIC_DOMAIN_HOME/servers/<rpm-managedserver>/tmp/_WL_user/rpm/<38o5n1>/lib/rpm_client_config.jar is not available.
    b. In-fact $WEBLOGIC_DOMAIN_HOME/servers/<rpm-managedserver>/tmp/_WL_user/rpm/<38o5n1> folder itself is not created.
