Unable to create new MetaSolv Solution user after upgrading to Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 (Doc ID 1950843.1)

Symptoms

MetaSolv Solution version 6.2

An "ORA-01932: ADMIN option not granted for role 'WOTSTWTWWOO'" is thrown when attempting to create a new user in the application.  This behavior started to occur after upgrading the Oracle database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.

1. Administration

2. Security Users and Groups

3. Right click on Users folder and select New > User...

4. Enter the required information and select OK (error is thrown)


Business Impact
Due to this issue, new users cannot be created in the application.

 

Changes

The Oracle database used by Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution was upgraded to from 11.2.0.X to 11.2.0.4.
