How To Display dimensions with custom defined ordering on Oracle Commerce (Endeca) Guided Search
Last updated on DECEMBER 22, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Commerce Guided Search / Oracle Commerce Experience Manager - Version 6.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In your Endeca application you need to display the Guided Search Dimensions with their own specific defined ordering on the Left Hand side
For example you want "Memory" to be displayed before "Hard Disk Capacity"
Eg in order
Hard Disk Capacity
No. of CPU core
Your defined ordering can change every night so you can't use a static ordering in Endeca.
You prefer to put the ordering inside the xml file as because the 3rd party system which generates the xml file, knows the ordering to apply.
Your xml looks like below :
So your question is - Where can you put the ordering information inside the xml and what must you do on the Endeca side to return ordered search dimensions in the results?
