Using AutoVue Client/Server Deployment with a proxy setup in order to allow external users access to AutoVue, when trying to view files the following error appears:
ClassNotFoundException - com.cimmetry.jvue.JVue.class
After enabling the client log the following error can be seen in the Java Console:
javax.net.ssl.SSLProtocolException: handshake alert:unrecognized_name
This error only occurs when using Java 7 and up, when using Java 6 the error does not occur.
Steps to reproduce:
- Setup AutoVue so that it can be used by external users.
- Try to view a file using AutoVue.
- Notice the error.
The Java plug-in installed at the connecting client may have been upgraded from Java 1.6 to Java 1.7.
