How To Include The Mail Client IP Address In The Mail Header (Doc ID 1952636.1)

Symptoms

When sending an email with Convergence behind a load balancer, Convergence doesn't respect the http X-Forwarded-For header, which is injected by the load balancer.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Having Convergence configured to run behind a load balancer
  2. Create a message with convergence
  3. Send the message
  4. Check the message and notice that it shows the IP address of the load balancer.


Due to this issue, you cannot trace back client IP addresses.
