Child XML Load Takes Long Time for Complex Hierarchy Accounts (Doc ID 1953880.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The child XML load to BRM takes a long time for complex hierarchy accounts.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

For complex hierarchy accounts migration, parent accounts are loaded through one XML and the child accounts are loaded through another XML. The child XML load to BRM is very slow and takes a long time.

Before truncating the cmt_reference_t table in the Performance environment, the table had 25 million records and a XML with 37.5K child accounts took more than 2 hours to load. After truncating the table, the child XML for the same volume of records loaded in 7 minutes.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Truncating the table in production is not an option and so a solution without truncation is required.
