Symptoms

When accessing the File Manager server configuration page, the following error occurs:

java.lang.NullPointerException

 

The File Manager server log shows the following:

*** File Manager Initialization failed *** Reason :ifs.user.name property not configured in server.conf

Steps to reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Starting the File Manager in Agile (New install with no modifications) generates this error when trying to load the configuration page and the service does not function:

To verify the File Manager Configuration page follow the below steps:
1. Launch your browser
2. Enter the File Manager server http://server_name:8080/Filemgr/Configuration

The File Manager log located under [Agile home]\Filemanager\logs\catalina.out or stdout.log show:

*** File Manager Initialization failed *** Reason :ifs.user.name property not configured in server.conf
