Goal

When attempting to install the compressed Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) packages with "pkgadd", the installation fails with "ERROR: no package associated with <Package Name>"?

For example:

# ls -lrt | grep ccsBe
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root     51269387 Jun 20  2013 ccsBe-svr4-5.0.1.0.0.tar.gz
# pkgadd -d `pwd` ccsBe
pkgadd: ERROR: no package associated with <ccsBe>
