Proxy Error Due To Timeout During File Replication Between DFM (Doc ID 1954455.1)

Actual Behavior

File Replication between two distributed file managers (DFM) result in Proxy Server error due to server time out when the replicated file size is large (max: 16GB). On the background, the file replication between two DFM continues, so after the file copy is complete and pressing F5 key, the downloading dialog window will appear.


Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream
server. The proxy server could not handle the request
Reason: Error reading from remote server


1. Server setting is as follows.

a) Site A

Load Balancer : <loadbalancer.DOMAIN_NAME>
Application Server
File Manager 1

b) Site B

Proxy Server : <proxyserver.DOMAIN_NAME>
File Manager 2

2. Java Client : Admin > Settings > Server Settings > Locations > File Manager

For Site A, following File Manager Internal Locator is set.
File Manager Internal Locator : http://<loadbalancer.DOMAIN_NAME>/Filemgr/services/FileServer
For Site B, following File Manager Internal Locator is set.
File Manager Internal Locator : http://<proxyserver.DOMAIN_NAME>/Filemgr/services/FileServer

3. Log in to Web Client with user having Preferred File Manager set as Site B File Manager 2.

4. Perform File Download for a specific attachment (max: 16GB) in which the file does not exist in Site B File Manager 2, but exists in Site A File Manager 1
