Goal

In Network Charging and Control (NCC), a feature exists in Advanced Control Services (ACS) which allows operators to quickly (assuming prior setup is done) activate alternative control plans in emergency situations.

Unfortunately the NCC documentation does not currently completely explain how to use this functionality. This Knowledge Article will fill this roll until the appropriate NCC documentation is updated.

The NCC Alternate Control Plan feature is only available for Operators using the Service Number services and the ACS Service Loader. Please raise an SR with Oracle Software Support to confirm if unsure.
