Undo Scaling Option Throws Error "ORA 01722: Invalid Number Returned By Program Unit ORDER_SETUP_SQL" (Doc ID 1955775.1)

Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix is already scheduled for future release. This article will be updated as official patch becomes available.


The error message "ORA 01722:invalid number returned by program unit ORDER_SETUP_SQLDELETE_ORDER" is thrown when user tries to undo the scaling process from the ordcalc form.

Expected Behavior:
The error message shouldn't be displayed, and user can normally undo the scaling.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Scaling constraints are set up in supplier inventory management constraints information screen.
2. Create an Order. Add item into order.
3. Apply process in order header screen to scale the order.
4. Undo scaling by going 'Apply Process' again. Click on Undo Order scaling check box.
5. Error message pops up.
