Description:

The price upgrade as well as promotion extension for tailor-made product is causing over billing (or extra payment) to the customers.

1. Create account on 23rd Oct, 2014

2. Make an off-cycle purchase on 13th Nov, 2014 with the following two tailor-made products:

Product P1:
Proration product effective from 13th Nov, 2014 - 23rd Oct, 2015
Promotion product effective from 23rd Oct, 2015 - 13th Nov, 2015
Base product effective from 13th Nov, 2014. The end date is not set

Product P2:
Proration product effective from 13th Nov, 2014 - 23rd Oct, 2015
Promotion product effective from 23rd Oct, 2015 - 13th Nov, 2015
Base product effective from 13th Nov, 2014. The end date is not set

3. Move the date to 1st Oct, 2015 and make another off cycle purchase for P2 promo extension Only:
Promotion product effective from 13th Nov, 2015 - 13th Nov, 2016

4. Once the promotion is ended for product P1 on 13th Nov, 2015 make base price increase on Dec 1st, 2015 for P1.

5. Move the time to Oct 1st 2016 and extend the promotion for both P1 and P2:
Proration product effective from 23th Oct, 2016 - 23rd Oct, 2017
Proration product effective from 13th Nov, 2016 - 13rd Nov, 2017

****Here is the Issue: After running Step#5, it was observed that two cycle forward items are created. One with -ve item total and other with +ve item total, which resulted in new charges to the customer which was not expected.

6. On 2nd of Oct, 2016, run PCM_OP_MAKE_BILL_NOW and new bill got generated with 2 cycle forward items. (One -ve of the old charge and othere with +ve of new charge) and final amount (difference of old and new charge) is collected.
