Cost of Parent Item Incorrectly Inherited By the Child Item (Doc ID 1956248.1)

Symptoms

On the item supplier country form, upon adding the dimensions for the item, the cost is also getting inherited by (i.e., passed to) the children.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Pick an item in worksheet status which has the child and the parent cost different.
  2. Open the item master form for the parent item in edit mode.
  3. Go to supplier -> supplier country of sourcing -> select an existing country -> view.
  4. Enter the item dimensions for the item at the case level.
  5. Click "ok" or "ok+repeat" for the dimensions. (Add additional if required)
  6. Notice that the checkbox for inheriting the item changes to the child is ticked.
  7. Notice that there is no change performed to the cost of the parent.  Click ok, ok, ok.
  8. Select List Children.
  9. Go to supplier -> supplier country of sourcing -> select an existing country -> view.
  10. Check that the cost of the child item has been changed to that of the parent.
