How to Configure P6 EPPM and P6 PPM to Utilize a Different Oracle JDBC Driver (ojdbc6.jar) (Doc ID 1957513.1)

Goal

 The purpose of this document is to provide instruction for how to reconfigure a P6 EPPM or P6 PPM environment to use an updated Oracle JDBC driver (ojdbc6.jar).  The existing version of the driver packaged with P6 EPPM and P6 PPM modules is 11.1.0.7.

The following release versions now natively come packaged with Oracle JDBC 11.2.0.3 drivers:

  • r8.3.9.0+
  • r8.4.5.0+
  • r15.1.0.0 and all later release versions
