SARM Abnormal Process Termination When Passing A Large Number Of CSDL Parameters Within An Order (Doc ID 1958028.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 21, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 5.2.4 to 7.2.4 [Release 5.2 to 7.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An order sent to the JSRP with more than 938 parameters for one CSDL causes the SARM to abnormally terminate.

Further order processing is not possible until the WLSTORE is purged and ASAP is restarted.

The logs show 5 orders, each with one CSDL having 3, 900, 937, 938, and 939 CSDL parameters respectively.

The first four complete normally, the 5th order causes the SARM to abnormally end and produce a core dump.

In this case, below error is seen in many of the problem scenarios.
