ORA-06502 Error While Trying To Cancel A Purchase Order With An Obligation

Symptoms

When attempting to cancel a PO (Purchase Order) that has not been shipped, yet it has an obligation setup, the following error occurs:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a PO for two items and approved it.
2. Create a PO Header Level obligation in pending status.
3. Now open the above PO in edit mode and cancel all items.
4. Enter the cancel code as Buyer Cancelled. Click OK on ordhead, below error encountered:

"ORA-06502 PL/SQL numeric or value error returned by program unit ALC_ALLOC_SQL.ALLOC_PO".
