Different End Dates When Cancelling a Promotion at the Detail and Component Level (Doc ID 1960582.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) 13.0.x, when cancelling a promotion at the detail level, we see in the RPM_PROMO_DTL_PAYLOAD table that the end date/time on the promotion stays at the end of the day 23:59:59.
However, when cancelling at the component level, the end date/time in RPM_PROMO_DTL_PAYLOAD becomes the beginning of the day 00:00:00.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to RPM.
  2. Navigate to Promotions.
  3. Search for an Active promotion.
  4. Cancel the promotion detail at the detail level.  Note that in the RPM_PROMO_DTL_PAYLOAD table, the end date/time of the promotion stays at the end of the day 23:59:59.
  5. Cancel the promotion component at component level.  Note that in the RPM_PROMO_DTL_PAYLOAD table, the end date/time of the promotion stays at the beginning of the day 00:00:00.
