Beginning Balance (FE 60) & Runoff Balance in RES_DTL_xxxxx Less than Instrument Table Balance

(Doc ID 1960641.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

In Oracle Risk Manager (RM) or Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), when running an ALM or RM Process, the balance from the instrument table does not match the beginning balance (FE 60) and total runoff balance (FE 210) in the Result Detail table, RES_DTL_xxxxx.  The balance from the RES_DTL_xxxxx table is less than the instrument table balance.

For example:

In MORTGAGES for USD: 2,035,594,794.12
In RES_DTL_xxxxx for USD for FE 60: 2,031,342,472.62

There is a gap of approximately 4 million.  You expect the balances to match.

This prevents you from reconciling the RM / ALM results with the instrument table data.
