Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version to [Release 7.4.0 to 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We have a requirement that whenever we cancel the cycle arrear product, the applied prorated charge should include the day in which the cancellation is happened.

For example, cycle arrear product purchased on Nov 4th 2014 and then cancelled the product on Nov 10th 2014, BRM charges only for 6days (it won't include the cancellation day).

As per requirement, we need to charge 7day's including the day where product is cancelled.

In order to achieve this, we have customised the policy opcode PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_POL_SPEC_CYCLE_FEE_INTERVAL. However, this opcode is not triggering during the cancellation for the cycle arrear product.

Purchase a cycle arrear product with purchase and cancel proration setting as 'Calculate the charge based on the amount used'.
Cancel the product.

Note:- PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_POL_SPEC_CYCLE_FEE_INTERVAL is triggered during cycle forward product cancellation.
