Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety Version 7.0.3

We would like to have selected users have READ ONLY SQL access to the Argus database.

What are the steps to provide READ ONLY access to the Oracle Argus database?

According to the DBA guide only the Argus role is mentioned which seems to give full access;

If we opt to grant this role and do a 'select * from role_tab_privs where role='ARGUSROLE';' it shows the user has full access to all the Oracle Argus tables;
