Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

When installing Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), Profitability Management (PFT), or Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 6.1.1 using the "Silent" option, the installer aborts without any reason.  The installation log is not created.  You cannot find any error messages.

The following messages are output by the installer:

Starting silent installation...
Preparing to install...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

Launching installer...

Preparing SILENT Mode Installation...

SolutionSetup (created with InstallAnywhere)

Installation Aborted...

If you run the install in GUI mode, the installer fails to open the GUI screen and the same messages appear in the Unix console.  The installer crashes.

You already verified the ASCII files do not have Ctrl-M characters as described in <Document 1631422.1> "PFT, FTP, or ALM 6.1 Install Stops Suddenly with No Error Messages".  The steps in this document did not fix the issue.
