In Oracle Enterprise Performance Foundation (FEM), the General Ledger (GL) Calendar Rule Engine completes in error.  The following messages exist in the View Log:

Periods specified for Period Set Name <Period Set> and Period Type <Period Type> for the Fiscal Year 2015 could not be processed because there is a gap between the period range in the General Ledger calendar.
Process registration has failed.
Process registration has failed.

When you check the Calendar Period dimension values, there are no gaps in the periods.  For example, you are running Fiscal Year 2015 and the Calendar Period dimension has values for Jan-14 through Dec-14.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to the Enterprise Performance Foundation responsibility
  2. Go to Data Rules > Oracle Dimension Sources > Accounting Calendar
  3. Submit a Calendar Rule

The Calendar Rule fails.
