Is there a batch mode for imsimta qm interactive mode commands?

For example, the release subcommand is only available in interactive mode. To release messages, you must first select them with the directory subcommand. That requires being in the imsimtam qm interactive mode so that the selection is preseved for use by the subsequent release command. For example:

Had there been messages in the reprocess channel, the dir command would have listed them and then the release 3 command would have released message #3 from that results list.
